Key Specifications & Composition
- Panel Thickness: Generally 4 mm thick for exterior facades.
- Core Material: Typically a 3 mm FR (Fire-Retardant) mineral-filled core sandwiched between two aluminum sheets.
- Skin Thickness: Usually 0.5 mm thick aluminum skins on each face.
- Coatings: Coil-coated with high-durability fluoropolymer resin finishes like Kynar 500 PVDF or Lumiflon on the exterior face and a protective service coating on the reverse face.
- Installation Method: Installed using stainless steel screws, nuts, bolts, washers, cleats, weather-resistant silicone sealants, and backer rods over a structural framework (often creating a rainscreen or pressure-equalized system)
